3 tips for a Bride on the Morning of her Wedding

Ok ladies - today is the day!

All of your precision planning has culminating to this very exciting day, so lets get to it!

Once the wedding day activities start things will go fast, so here are some helpful tips for your morning to keep you connected, calm and grounded:

  • Start early & stay relaxed: Begin your morning with some calm, quiet moments to collect your thoughts. Wake up early to allow yourself ample time for getting ready without feeling rushed. Consider practicing some mindfulness or light stretching exercises to help ease any nerves and start the day on a positive note.

Stay hydrated & nourished: It's easy to get caught up in the excitement and forget about taking care of yourself. Make sure to have a healthy breakfast that provides you some energy throughout the day. Hydration is also essential, so drink plenty of water (with a few mimosas of course!). Avoid excessive caffeine that could lead to jitters or a crash later on.

  • Delegate & Disconnect: Entrust the last-minute details to your wedding planner. Trying to handle everything on your own can lead to unnecessary stress. This is also a great time to disconnect from your phone and social media. Enjoy the moments with your loved ones, immerse yourself in the experience, and avoid any distractions that might take you away from the joy of the day.

  • 3 things NOT to wear the morning:

    • A bra if you’re wearing a strapless gown those indent marks may be visible in your photos

    • A pull-over top because once your hair & make up is done you don’t want to have to drag a shirt over your head

    • Socks can leave visible elastic marks and if you have short dress on you will see marks on your legs

Remember, this is a special day for you, a once-in-a-lifetime amazing day! Stay present, cherish the moments, and embrace the joy of the occasion. Things may not go perfectly but what truly matters is celebrating your love and the commitment you're making to your spouse. Being present is what matters most!
