We had the absolute pleasure of planning Sam & Jack’s picturesque September 30th wedding at the Opus 40 Sculpture Park in Saugerties NY. Our amazing couple, Sam & Jack, had a beautiful September wedding at The Opus 40 Sculpture Park surrounded by their closest friend and family. Not only was this couple incredible to plan with, but their love & kindness was so special.

Thankfully, we had a Kick-ass team of vendors at this wedding that helped put it all together.

The day began at a nearby Airbnb where Sam & and her girls got their hair and make-up done before getting into their dresses. Meanwhile Jack was taking a tour of the grounds with Melissa & the team surveying the rain from the night before, making sure everything was perfect for their wedding that afternoon…and it was!

As Sam and the ladies made their way to the sculpture park for their first look, we had Jack go to the foregrounds of the monolith so that he would be waiting for Sam at that perfect moment…and then this happened…

The clouds provided the perfect vail of coverage for this dramatic photo …swoon!

After a quick ceremony, the party began with live music and yummy drinks and food. The unconventional space allowed for us to have several spaces niched out for quiet picnic table chats and event a firepit for guests to enjoy as the night breeze set in. Once guests and the couple ascended to the reception covered tent for the evening, Sam & jack were toasted by loved ones.

Once the reception was underway, the party didn’t stop until the reception ended.

There was no fancy dinner courses, just family style dining which guests loved, they chatted and celebrated the coupled as they enjoyed the meticulously chosen menu that was deliciously prepared. Hot donuts were served for dessert instead of a wedding cake…this couple knew their crowd very well!

Sam & Jack danced the night away to one of our favorite DJ’s and when the clock struck midnight, it was all over.

It was such a pleasure planning with this sweet couple and watching all of the details we curated come together.

I am truly grateful to have worked alongside Sam & Jack for almost a year planning this amazing wedding.
