Winter Signature Cocktails

Winter weddings call for one thing β€” cozy & comfy cocktails! As chilly December turns to frigid January... your friends and family will appreciate these yummy drinks during your cocktail hour and reception. Here are 3 recipes that we taste tested and are approved…try them out. 

These recipes are scaled down for you and your fiancΓ© to try but your venue will certainly be able to create them!

Snowflake Martini

2 tbsp. heavy cream

1/2 c. ice

1 lemon wedge, for rim

1/3 c. white sanding sugar, for rim

3 oz. white chocolate liqueur

2 oz. Vanilla Vodka

  • Using a lemon wedge, wet the rim of your martini glass. Dip in sanding sugar until rim is coated.

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine white chocolate liqueur with vanilla vodka and heavy cream.

  • Fill shaker with ice and shake well.

  • Strain mixture into prepared glass and serve.

Pomegranate Mimosas

1 c. sweetened pomegranate juice

1 bottle champagne

Pomegranate seeds, for garnish

  • In champagne flutes, fill with 1/4 cup sweetened pomegranate juice and top off with champagne. Garnish with pomegranate seeds

Mulled Wine Sangria

1 bottle red wine

2 c. cranberry juice

1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries

1/2 c. orange-flavored liqueur

1/2 c. packed light-brown sugar

2 cinnamon sticks

1 strip orange peel

2 green apples

  • Put the wine, cranberry juice, cranberries, orange liqueur, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, and orange peel in a large saucepan.

  • Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook, stirring, 5 minutes or until the sugar dissolves.

  • Remove from the heat; set aside 15 minutes.

  • Stir the apples into the mulled wine.

  • Serve immediately or refrigerate and serve chilled.
